We also provide a managed Cloud Backup and DR solution via our partner Acronis.
Firstly, all the Client’s on-prem servers were backed up to the Acronis Cloud. This included Application Level backup of Active Directory.
We then conducted a DR Test during which a set of on-prem servers were restored to Virtual Machines hosted in a Private Cloud designed for this purpose.
Client’s gained access via a preconfigured Remote Access VPN installed on their desktops.
Active Directory and File Shares were available via VPN within 30 minutes of initiating the restore.
Clients were able to authenticate easily and operate as normal.

The Client’s previous email solution had not adequately blocked all SPAM and Phishing email.
To solve this we recommended routing all inbound and outbound email via the Mimecast Cloud.
QD Tech has worked with Mimecast for many years and they continue to innovate and improve their service year after year.
Since implementing Mimecast the Client has reported no issues with malicious email.
They have also taken advantage of the Disclaimer and Branding tools included with their account.
